As we once again open the Mega-verse, rules are bent, changed, and challenged.

Long gone is the past definition of glamour as we know it. The MEGA Ball, with this year’s theme “Glam Rock: A Performance of Style”, now creates a world where fashion is (as it always should be) a responsible freedom of expression. With the consciousness that comes in curating various interpretations for the said theme, lies a responsibility to instill that even with repetition and repurpose, a true sense of style is timeless.

From a hodgepodge of vintage pieces to looks that break standards and stereotypes, we give you the best dressed men in this year’s MEGA Ball.

Alden Richards

You can never go wrong with a classic suit with a glitter embroidery from Francis Libiran. This is a subtle glam that rocks.

Alex Diaz

Channeling an Asian Bon Jovi look, Alex rocked the whole look in character. The statement piece? The custom crucifix chain top by his stylist, Kiki Tan.

Francis Libiran

Always known to understand the assignment and do his homework, the designer wore his own creation with an inner garment from LEAK and gold boots from Joco Comendador.

Hayden Kho

Glam rock with a mix of his personal streetwear style is his peg for the night. Opting for a more subdued accessory, Hayden paired his Gucci velvet tuxedo with his chosen crown—a Gucci x Adidas baseball hat.

LA Aguinaldo

Would you believe that this number is made from repurposed fabric? Hitting both glam rock and sustainability in one look, Myrrh Lao To got it right for this gentleman.

Ruru Madrid

Veering away from chunky studs and dark hues, the rock glam from Ruru’s look came in soft speckles of a blush tone courtesy of Chynna Mamawal‘s design and David Milan‘s styling.

BJ Pascual

The best thing about the photographer’s look is that the S in his style stands for sustainability—ticking all the marks for this year’s ball theme. Did you know that he copped these pieces separately, but are both from 2006 Spring Collection of Nicolas Ghesquière for Balenciaga?

Darren Espanto

The performer’s version of glam rock is weaving a Filipino twist into his look tonight through his Francis Libiran olive ensemble.

James Reid

Stylist Flo and designer ANTONINA made sure that the Careless Chairman will paint the town red tonight with this velvet number!
